Position by position
The tire record shows the wheel each tire sits on today, so the steer tires on T-226 are never mixed up with the pair that was there before the last rotation.
Fleet maintenance from $2 CAD per vehicle a month, billed annually.

Each tire is followed at its wheel position from the day it is mounted to the day it comes off, with its tread readings, retreads and its own cost per mile. Warranties are entered with their end date and mileage limit, and RigMD sends a reminder email 30 days before one expires. Both are Premium features.

Tread readings recorded
The tire record shows the wheel each tire sits on today, so the steer tires on T-226 are never mixed up with the pair that was there before the last rotation.
Mounts and removals are logged as they happen. Move a drive tire from T-226 to T-231 and it keeps its history instead of starting over as a new tire.
Readings from the tread gauge are entered whenever you measure, and together they build a wear history you can use to plan the next replacement.
A retread is logged against the casing, so a tire that has been to the retreader twice still has a single record going back to its first mount.
Each tire gets its own cost per mile, which turns a brand debate, or new versus retreaded, into a number. The tire screen labels the figure cost per mile.
Warranties carry an end date and a mileage limit, and RigMD sends an email 30 days before one expires so the coverage can still be used.
Tires are a large running cost on a highway tractor, and paper records lose track of them quickly. Picture a drive tire pulled from T-226 for a retread and fitted to T-231 three months later: on paper, its story usually ends when it leaves the first truck.
In RigMD the tire carries its own record wherever it goes. Its mounts, removals, tread readings and retreads stay attached, and its cost per mile is worked out for that tire alone instead of as a fleet average. When a tire goes on during a repair, it can be added to that job’s work order.
Warranty coverage is easy to forget once the paperwork is filed: a powertrain warranty on a newer tractor, a rebuilt transmission, a set of batteries bought in the fall. A folder in the office will not tell anyone the end date is near.
Put each warranty into RigMD with its end date and mileage limit. Thirty days before it runs out, the reminder email lands, which leaves the shop time to look over the covered parts. Working with the dealer or the warranty provider is still up to you.
How it works
Create the tire and assign it to a wheel position on the unit.
Record each tread gauge reading and every retread as it happens.
Look at cost per mile tire by tire before the next tire order goes in.
Warranties with an end date and a mileage limit trigger an email 30 days ahead.
